Chelsea Manager Lampard Gives His Opinion On Changes To Champions League Format (See What He Said)

kicked against the idea of increasing the number of Champions League group matches, as he fears it could lead to player burnout, according to UK Mirror.

European Club Association (ECA) Chairman, Andrea Agnelli, has proposed a restructuring of the competition’s format, to prevent it becoming predictable.

Plans to include up to 96 teams and bring in a promotion and relegation system were shelved last month, but discussions are still ongoing, as to how to revamp the Champions League from 2024/2025 onward.

“At the minute, I think the level is about right,” Lampard said at an event organised by the umbrella organisation of European Leagues.

“The competition is good. I like the format personally.

“If you ask me can we play more European games, I personally don’t know where you’d fit them in amongst our busy schedule.

“I always find it hard with the players to keep the quality level and the freshness within the team, so I think if we did do that there would be a lot of discussion about how that worked practically.

“As a manager, I actually feel the weight of games more than I did as a player, even though I was running around as a player.

“You’re thinking about how can you keep the team fresh, and it’s a challenge with all the competitions we have now.”

But on the other hand, some industry gurus believe it is a well-deserved win for  Rema  as a result of the huge impact he’s got in the music industry in a short period of time. We would love to hear from you guys

Why zlatan might last longer than naira Marley in the industry

The Nigerian music industry this year so far has been exceptionally competitive with the impact, commitment, input, and controversy introduced by Naira Marley and Zlatan. The level of dominance these duo have in the industry this year is second to none. This is the first time we are having 2 street artistes popping and making it without one affecting the other. For instance when  Slimcase  was popping, there was no major match, when small doctor was popping, no one was. and so much more. However, criticisms keep increasing by the day as many question the talent and efficiencies of these 2. Questions like:- Won’t they also end up like the  Shaku Shaku  crooner, Slimcase?, If Zanku fades off today, will they still be heard? Will they still be relevant in 2020, as we now have likes of  Fireboy ,  Joeboy and  Rema  already popping as well? Answering all these questions rhetorically in my head, one thing kept re-occurring in my thought as to the longev...
